Realme Watch 3 pro Review: Loaded with a lot of Features

This latest Realme watch is packed with specs like an AMOLED display, long battery life, sleek design, Bluetooth calling, and more. Priced under Rs 5,000 in India, it looks like a feature-packed smartphone above its class. Well, I’ve been using this watch for about 15 days now, and here’s what I think about it.

Design
Realme Watch 3 Pro looks stylish and premium at first look. The watch borrows elements from its Watch 3 predecessors but looks good on both the hand and the wrist. Realme Watch 3 Pro is available in 2 colors – Gray and Black. I received the standard black color variant for review.

The watch has a square face, which is seen on most smartwatches today. The watch weighs about 40 grams and is light on the wrist. In addition, the 22mm silicone strap is skin-friendly, allowing you to wear the device without discomfort for a long time.

Display
The Realme Watch 3 Pro has a 1.78-inch AMOLED display that delivers crisp text, vivid colors, and deeper blacks than other TFT panels. This makes the black and dark colored dials look even more attractive and the watch itself looks more elegant when the display is off.
The watch comes with different watch faces that can be used. We will talk more about them in the dials section. It is always on the display and the function can be activated in both analog and digital versions, in both styles.
The only issue with the always-on display is that the screen turns on even when placed on a flat surface when it should only turn on when worn on the wrist. This is an issue with the WearOS it runs on and hopefully, a future update will fix it. The display provides a maximum brightness of 500 nits, which is low and not suitable for bright day light usage. The display is slightly curved from the edges and has thick bezels on all sides, giving it a good overall look.
Performance
Realme Watch 3 Pro comes with various smart and health features. First, talking about some smart features, the camera controls on the Realme Watch 3 Pro were pretty cool. With this feature, you can click a picture from your phone by tapping on your watch.
The music can also be controlled via the watch. One of the most useful features is Bluetooth calling. The watch uses a built-in microphone and speaker to pick up calls directly from the watch. After receiving a call, you can also talk through the handset of the phone, even if you are connected to the watch.
The only problem is that sometimes the speaker will not work as it should. The sound was very quiet and indistinct, making it impossible to understand a word clearly. Otherwise, up to 10 favorite contacts can be added from the link app, and Bluetooth calling works fine.
